Why I wrote the Language Explorers Books

"As a mother and someone who has spent years working with families in early intervention, I’ve seen how language can unlock connection—and I’ve also seen how challenging it can be for some children to get started. Language Explorers is for every family, especially those with little ones who are working through imitation, exploring new sounds, or building words slowly, day by day.

The Language Explorers series was created to support families through these moments of discovery. Whether it’s practicing sounds with Sound Adventures, learning routines in A Day at School, or exploring culture in Flavors of the World, each story offers familiar activities that promote language development through shared moments.
